June 2013 – Improving Solar Power and the Treatment of Diabetes
In R.Science this month we find out how plastic solar cells may give people in
the developing world easier access to electricity. We explore the role of
pancreatic beta cells in diabetes and how this may help to better treat the
disease. We also discuss the relationship between science and science fiction
and try to discover the use of quantum mechanics.
